Roman Centurion Helmet
Beautifully hand crafted Roman Centurion Helmet
"Medieval Centurions, warrior helmet dating back from 100 B.C. to 300 A.D. Helmets often worn by the main officers of the Imperial Roman Guard. The name ‘Centurion’ derived from each charge consisting of 100 men. Aside from allowing easy identification of Centurion Generals, the plumed helms colour variation specified officer rank and at times depict different units. Generals were also more visible to their men, the added height further suggesting higher command."
