Return & Refund Policy

Thanks for shopping at The Best Handycrafts.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help but please read our entire Return & Refund policy to be absolutely clear of our terms.

We reserve the right to amend or add to these Terms & Conditions.

Damages & Liability

The majority of our products are covered under manufacturer's warranty. 'The Best Handy Crafts' does not provide any warranties whatsoever and defers to the manufacturer for any complaints/warranties/guarantees as  'The Best Handy Crafts' does not make, manufacture, or fabricate any of the products found herein.

And remember: Some products may have parts that can be complex systems, failure of one component can result in a crash or damage. The warranty does not cover, and  'The Best Handy Crafts' is not responsible in any way, for damage to other equipment due to a failure of a component.  'The Best Handy Crafts' is not responsible in any way for the use, misuse, or any injury or damage to personal property from use of any equipment purchased at  'The Best Handy Crafts'

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please notify us and send photos to info@thebesthandycrafts.com and we will process a claim on your behalf.


Returns

We do not offer a "buyer's remorse" return policy.
Opened boxes cannot be returned unless there is a verification of damaged goods upon receiving the product. 

Any defective merchandise need to be reported to 'The Best Handy Crafts' within 5 business days of the order being received. 
You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it in case of defective merchandise.

All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped.  If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method that you use when placing your order.

Opened packages, after 48 hours from purchase, are subject to a 20% (of item price) restocking fee if returned. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be damaged or defective and in the same condition that you received it.

Your item must be in the original packaging.

Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds

If the item you wish to return is faulty, we will require photo proof of the fault via email. Once the refund claim has been approved, we’ll let you know the shipping details where you need to post the item back to. Please email us some proof to indicate the faulty item has been posted back to us, like a parcel tracking number or a copy of the postage receipt etc. We will process the refund as soon as we receive proof of postage.

You will then be offered a full refund*** or store credit, whichever you prefer. Any refunds will be transferred back to the original payment method, eg. your credit card, PayPal or Afterpay account or store credit. Promotional codes are not eligible for refund.

Any shipping costs incurred will not be refunded. Please ensure you use a trackable or signed-for delivery service such as registered post, as we cannot credit your account until the item has been received or take responsibility of lost items that don't make it back to us.

Please note: Store credits are valid for 1 year from the date of issue, unless specified otherwise.

*Items that cannot be returned include: any personalised products, made-to-order products, any items that have been opened or those that have been deemed by the technical team to be in working order. 
All items being returned must be dispatched/shipped within 7 days of the return being approved, and must be in original condition and packaging and not affected by being used in an abnormal way, or reduced in value by delay on your part. If these requirements are not met, the seller reserves the right to deny a return.

If for any reason a product you have ordered is not available or out of stock, we will offer to place it on back order or refund you or offer you a store credit to the same value. It is up to the discretion of our store/management, which of these options are offered.

*Please note: We are unable to return an item that is not being returned by the original purchaser.


Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-­refundable.

If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
